Congratulations Alex!

In 2020 Alex Chiddicks joined our team as a Hybrid IT/Telecoms Apprentice at Comms UK, on an apprenticeship scheme as a Customer Service Specialist.

Alex has pursued IT and Technology based avocations for approximately 12 years, and has been building computers and troubleshooting technological problems within his personal relations while still at school.
He left school and completed a Level 3 in Electronic Engineering, and then another Level 3 in Cyber Security, at Bournemouth and Poole college. He has completed work experience in multiple technology based companies within his time to further develop his skills and experience.

Alex passed his apprenticeship on the 6th of January 2022 with the highest grade possible, a distinction, completing his 2 year apprenticeship with flying colours!
Alex says he is extremely pleased with the result obtained as well as the knowledge he has acquired during the last 2 years. “I have learnt many brilliant skills through my apprenticeship, especially communication, i feel a lot more confident in dealing with complex situations within the workplace, retaining positive customer relationships and setting a good level of expectations for all of our customers” Alex comments. “I am also extremely thankful for Comms UK, as they provided excellent training whenever it was required and fully supported me in my professional progression as well as within my apprenticeship”
Alex is very happy with the level he has reached under the supervision of Comms, and plans to pursue his career within Comms UK now that he is qualified.

Richard Walker, Operations Manager at Comms UK has supported Alex throughout his 2 year apprenticeship. He has ensured at the highest possible level that Alex has been making the most of his time as an apprentice and that he was gaining as much knowledge, professional and intellectual, as possible.

“Alex has shown a great aptitude in the IT/Telecoms environment and has progressed extremely well in the last two years. I am proud of his achievements and look forward to the next stages of his career and ongoing development. He is a pleasure to work with and an integral part of the Engineering Team – Well Done!” – Richard Walker
